CERTIFICATE OF AIRWORTHINESS (CoA) CASR 21.176

A standard airworthiness certificate is issued for most aircraft and is classified by category of operation (i.e., normal, utility, acrobatic, commuter, or transport category). 

Our authorisations include:

Standard CoA for Aeroplane & Helicopters

  • Transport, Normal, Acrobatic, Commuter; and Utility

  • First of Type or First of Model

  • With or without type certificate or STC

Special CoA for Aircraft in the following categories

  • Restricted

  • Ex-Military aircraft

  • With or without Type Certificate or Supplemental Type Certificates


EXPERIMENTAL CERTIFICATE OF AIRWORTHINESS CASR 21.195A

Special certificates of airworthiness (CofA), which include experimental certificates, are issued to permit certain kinds of operations of aircraft that do not meet the requirements for a standard CoA or that, because of certain modifications, do not conform to their type certificates, but are capable of safe operations under defined operating conditions and purposes.

The owner/operator of an experimental aircraft is responsible for taking care to minimise safety risks and to be satisfied that the aircraft is reasonably capable to carry out flights without damage or injury to the aircraft and its occupants or to other property or persons whether in the air or on the ground or water.


SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT (SFP) CASR 21.200

Applicable for the following purpose

  • Flying the aircraft to a base where repairs, or maintenance are to be performed, or stored.


EXPORT CERTIFICATE OF AIRWORTHINESS (CASR21.234)

Is issued for aircraft which demonstrates compliance to the import countries Airworthiness requires & is safe for flight.

Our authorisations include:

  • All Aeroplanes Type certified under CASR 23 & CASR 25, &

  • All Helicopters Type certified under CASR 27, & CASR 29


MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST (MEL) CAR 37

  • First of Type or First of Model & subsequent aircraft

  • Initial Development, Assessment & Approval of MEL

  • Revision Development, Assessment & Approval of MEL

  • Permissible Unserviceability’s (PU) (extension of repair interval to MEL items)

  • Delegation applicable to aircraft operated under CAR1988 & CASR1998 regulations


SYSTEM OF MAINTENANCE (SOM)

CAR42M & R & CASR42.985

  • Initial (CAR42 M) & CAR42R (Revision)

  • Development, Assessment & Approval of SOM

Note: Acceptable person as a maintenance program approval (CASR 42.985) defined in CAMO exposition.

Applicable to aircraft operating under an Experimental Certificate under CAR195A for the purpose of permitting operations over the built up area of a city or town.

Applicable to aircraft operating under an Experimental Certificate under CAR195A for the purpose operations other than by day and under the V.F.R.
